Elizabeth S. Parks is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies and the Assistant Director of the Center for Public Deliberation, both at Colorado State University. A research affiliate with the Center for Intercultural Dialogue, her research and teaching blends social scientific and humanistic methods to better understand how we can improve ethical listening with people who are different than ourselves. Her first book, "The Ethics of Listening: Creating Space for Sustainable Dialogue," was published in late 2018.
