Display Space Policy

Library display cases highlight library collections and provide a place for campus groups to showcase their events, services, and programs and connect them with library collections.

Interior Displays

Display cases inside the library are designed to exhibit library collections and draw attention to library events and library-sponsored activities. Two of the standing display cases on the first floor are open so that visitors can easily browse the materials on display and choose items for checkout. These two display cases may be available for the campus community to use based on this policy.

Concourse Display

The concourse display case is available to the campus community based on this policy. This case is located in the hallway outside the library near the entrance to the Labovitz School of Business and Economics.

Display Criteria

  • Preference will be given to displays that amplify marginalized voices.
  • Preference will be given to organizations that provide services or programs to a campus-wide audience rather than to a single academic department.
  • Library-sponsored displays may be placed as often as needed.
  • Content of the displays should follow the Library Use Policy.
