The Kathryn A. Martin Library evaluates its collection of electronic resources, including ebooks, ejournals, and databases, on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Decisions to invest in new resources are informed heavily by the research needs expressed by students and faculty, curriculum changes, usage trends, and thorough consideration of the value offered by each resource.

ASCE Library (American Society of Civil Engineers)
A collection of full-text journals and proceedings from the American Society of Civil Engineers. Topics include structures, geotechnics, environment and water resources, construction, transportation and urban development, architecture, and engineering mechanics. Our subscription does not include books or standards.
Cameron’s Mental Health eBook Collection for Higher Education (Gale)
A collection of reference ebooks intended to support student mental health issues. This collection spans a wide range of topics, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mindfulness, nutrition, stress, and more. All ebooks are available in Gale Virtual Reference Library.
Communication & Mass Media Complete (EBSCO)
A database providing access to full-text articles, indexing, and abstracts for many top communication journals covering all related disciplines, including media studies, linguistics, rhetoric, and discourse.
A collection of industry reports for the United States, Canada, China, and global topics. Each report provides an overall current picture of an industry, including overviews, leading companies, sales information, and authoritative sources for researching hundreds of industries.
A tool that enables users to create customized maps and reports of demographic, housing, and employment patterns throughout the United States using data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

A collection of 64 newspapers from throughout Africa, all published before 1901 and originally archived by the British Library. From culture to history to geopolitics, these newspapers offer fresh research opportunities for students and scholars interested in topics related to Africa.
American Indian Newspapers (Adam Matthew)
A collection spanning 200 years of Indigenous print journalism from the United States and Canada. This resource has been developed with, and has only been made possible by, the permission and contribution of the newspaper publishers and Tribal Councils concerned.
Financial Times Historical Archive, 1880-2016 (Gale)
A full-text, fully-searchable digital archive of the Financial Times, which delivers the complete run of the London edition of this internationally known daily paper, from its first issue through 2016.
Hispanic American Newspapers, 1808-1980 (Readex)
A collection featuring hundreds of Hispanic American newspapers printed in the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries. It is based on the “Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage Project,” a national research effort directed by Nicolás Kanellos, Brown Foundation Professor of Hispanic Studies at the University of Houston.
Illustrated London News Historical Archive, 1842-2003 (Gale)
A full-text, fully-searchable digital archive of the Illustrated London News, which delivers the complete run, from its first issue in 1842 to its last in 2000.
International Herald Tribune Historical Archive, 1887-2013 (Gale)
A full-text, fully-searchable digital archive of The New York Herald, European Edition followed by the New York Herald Tribune and finally the International Herald Tribune, retracing the history of the 20th century from luxury travel and opulent entertainment, to international conflicts, the spread of American culture abroad and globalization.

A full-text, fully-searchable digital archive of Punch, a weekly magazine of wit and satire, from its first issue in 1841 to its last in 1992. Also included are its annual Almanack, seasonal issues, and indexes.

A collection of 87 full-text, perpetual access journal backfiles, primarily from Taylor & Francis’ Allied & Public Health archives. The complete list of purchased titles and coverages is available in a Google spreadsheet.

A collection of British Government documents covering the whole of the modern period of European colonization of Africa from the British Government’s perspective.
Confidential Print: Middle East, 1839-1969 (Adam Matthew)
A collection of British Government documents pertaining to the countries of the Levant and the Arabian peninsula, Iran, Turkey, Egypt and Sudan.
Making of the Modern World, 1450-1850 (Gale)
A collection of primary sources and ebooks from the 1460-1850 period, which focuses on economics interpreted in the widest sense, including political science, history, sociology, and special collections on banking, finance, transportation, and manufacturing.
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Archive (Wiley Digital Archives)
A collection of primary source materials from the RCP and personal papers from past fellows. There is a wealth of material on the RCP's role in relation to contemporary medical advances as well as glimpses into the personal lives and social concerns of many distinguished physicians.

Socialism on Film, Module II: Newsreels and Cinemagazines (Adam Matthew)
970 film newsreels and cinemagazines documenting the communist world, from the Russian Revolution to the end of the Cold War, as seen by filmmakers from the USSR, Vietnam, Cuba, China, East Germany, Eastern Europe and more. This collection expands upon Module I: Wars & Revolutions, which has been available to us since 2017.

A collection of test preparation study guides, flashcards, and practice tests for standardized exams, including ASWB, CHES, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, MTLE, PCAT, and more.
