Join us for this annual interdisciplinary celebration that displays the breadth and depth of scholarly and creative works authored by our colleagues at UMD. Authors of books published from September 2016 to September 2018 have been invited to share a short reading of their latest work, as well as a brief description of their journey as an author.

Below is a list of participating authors:

  • Tom Isbell, SFA
  • Linda LeGarde Grover, CLA
  • Gideon Mailer, CLA
  • Karen Marsh, CEHSP
  • Jennifer Carolina Gómez Menjívar, CLA
  • Desineni Subbaram Naidu, SCSE
  • Elizabeth Nelson, CLA
  • Deborah Petersen-Perlman
  • Yongcheng Qi, SCSE

A social hour will follow the readings, providing a chance to talk with the authors, have them sign copies of their books, explore the topics of the books further, and connect with colleagues from across campus.

UMD Stores will be on hand to sell books, and appetizers and beverages will be provided.
