As part of the Kathryn A. Martin Libraries commitment to stress reduction, we are happy to announce two events on Tuesday April 9.
Yoga in the Library Rotunda
The Library is happy to UMD Bulldog Yoga Club to the Library's 4th Floor Rotunda for a stress-reducing yoga session. Join us on Tuesday April 9 at 5:00 for practice on mindful movement, centering, and calm.
The practice will be slow yoga and includes mindful journaling after the movements. Participants should bring their own mats, a writing utensil and paper.
Purls of Wisdom: Learn to Knit
Join UMD’s Knit Wits Knitting club for “Purls of Wisdom” on Tuesday, April 9 in the Library 119 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. No experience required. Yarn and needles will be provided, but all attendees are welcome to bring their own.
