The primary function of Library Instruction Labs KAML 115 and KAML 116 is to serve as library program space. The secondary function of KAML 116 is a basic access Lab; as such it will be open to student use when not reserved for classes, meetings, or events.

Description of the Labs

KAML 115
- 32 student seats without computers, arranged in a traditional lecture style rows
- 1 instructor station with a PC at the front of the room
- Wi-Fi is available
- Food and drink are allowed
KAML 116
- 28 student seats with computers configured as basic access, arranged in a traditional lecture style rows
- 1 instructor station with a Windows 10 thin client at the front of the room
- Wi-Fi is available
- No food nor drink
Food
Food and drink are not allowed in KAML 116 at any time but are permitted in KAML 115.
Scheduling
These labs are reserved for library programming during fall and spring semester. At other times of the year, the space may be booked by other UMD departments. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please submit your reservation request(s) for KAML 115 and/or KAML 116 at least one week in advance and watch for email confirmations. We need separate form submissions for each requested use of a room.
