Percy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northland College, where he worked as library and museum staff in the Indigenous Cultures Center. In addition, he brings experience as a curatorial intern at the Madeline Island Museum.
Percy will be spending time assisting in the management of archival materials, especially local history. In his role, Percy will also connect researchers with archival materials, as well as supervise student workers and interns in the archives.
I am looking forward to making the archives easier to access for researchers, whether UMD students, faculty, staff, or the wider community.
In his free time, Percy enjoys reading nonfiction, poetry, and horror, watching documentaries, and writing fiction.
