Sean holds a BFA in Creative and Professional Writing and an MA in English from Bemidji State University, an MS in Education - Instructional Design from Kaplan University, and a PhD in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He brings experience as an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University, and as Development Director at St. Paul Media where he works online with clients in designing and developing websites. In addition, he was owner and operator of Froydtech, LLC where he supplied technical and computer repair support to customers while running a virtual reality entertainment arcade.
I'm looking forward to working hard with the library to increase access and use of our web presence to better serve the students, faculty, and community...I've always thought working at a library would be one of the greatest things because of the access to all the books and information! I'm glad I'm getting to be in the UMD community now...I always thought it'd be a cool place to be, from way back in High School when I had friends heading here for college!
In his spare time, Sean enjoys playing video games (especially in VR), playing board games with his wife, and playtesting the games his wife creates!
