There are several initiatives and programs that can help reduce the cost of textbooks, such as:
The library purchases course-assigned ebooks with access for unlimited users when possible and makes them available through Library Course Materials.
Course Works is a collaborative effort between the University’s campus stores and libraries designed to make required textbooks available in their courses at the start of each semester. Because Course Works leverages increased buying power, the overall program cost is competitively priced.
All other materials–such as research guides, ebooks, articles, videos, book chapters, physical books, PDFs, other electronic resources, and more–are made available through the Library Course Materials page in each Canvas course as directed by the instructor.
