Drop by the library’s first floor lobby area on Wednesday, September 5, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, to learn more about our first floor collections, including Bestsellers, Graphic Novel Collection, and Wellness Collection. This free and informal event will include:
- An introduction to the collections
- Reading recommendations
- Lemonade and popcorn
The library’s first floor collections are intended to highlight popular library materials and make them easily accessible to the UMD community. Bestsellers features a wide range of popular reading material, the Graphic Novel Collection shows off our graphic novels and comic books, the Wellness Collection emphasizes mind and body wellness, and the New Books Shelf highlights new additions to the collection.
