The My Beautiful Library Photo & Film Contest face-off will take place in Martin Library 115 on Thursday, April 20, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The top 3 finalists in the photography categories were selected by "likes" on Instagram (#kamlphotos17), and anyone who attends the photo & film battle can vote to select the winners.
In-person voting will also determine the first and second-place finishers in the Film Short category . . . while eating popcorn!

The Best in Show entry will be chosen by the Library Communication & Events team and announced at the event.

Photo category winners — $50 gift cards from UMD Stores
First place Film Short — $200 UMD Stores gift card
Runner-up Film Short — $50 UMD Stores gift card
Best in Show — $50 UMD Stores gift card and glass plaque
Submitted images will be used in future library promotions and to illustrate library services in displays, on posters, in social media, and on the web. Video entries will be posted on the library’s YouTube channel and linked from the library’s other social media accounts.
