Drop by the library’s first floor lobby area to learn more about our the Wellness Collection! This free and informal event on July 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will include:
- Reading recommendations
- Healthy snacks
- Wellbeing Program information
The library’s Wellness collection was created in June 2017 in collaboration with UMD's Employee Health & Wellbeing Center. The collection has a focus on whole person wellbeing, including materials about physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social, occupational, and environmental wellbeing. The collection is still being developed, so feel free to bring recommendations! You can find the Wellness Collection between the New Books shelf and the current newspaper shelves on the library's first floor. Wellness books can be checked out for four weeks at a time.
